About the Role
Sentry is seeking a Technical Enablement Director to drive platform adoption through education and enablement. This role involves strategy, planning, and execution of internal and external training programs. The ideal candidate is a blend of product evangelist, content producer, and educator, capable of translating technology into compelling narratives and using analytical skills for continuous improvement. This strategic and operational role requires close collaboration with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Design teams, and a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and related technologies.
Responsibilities
- Become a Sentry product expert, intimately familiar with all product capabilities and customer usage.
- Own the Sentry University virtual learning platform, including curriculum preparation, content creation, and user experience management.
- Create a comprehensive training strategy to accelerate customer ramp-up and time-to-value.
- Build and operationalize an engaging certification program for customers, partners, and employees.
- Design and own all end-user training content for CSMs and SEs.
- Create and deliver instructor-led training curriculum through virtual group training and in-person workshops.
- Partner with sales and marketing to track progress of leads within Sentry University.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure enablement materials are up-to-date and meet company standards.
- Develop programs and training materials for the onboarding and technical enablement of customer-facing teams.
- Develop KPIs to measure the adoption and effectiveness of training programs.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in the application monitoring field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical training development and delivery.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with technical and business audiences.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Significant experience working with customers and partners, both remotely and in person.
- Ability to think out of the box to develop structured training plans, actions, and measurable metrics.
- Experience leveraging various learning tools and media to provide optimal learning.
