Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, entry points, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control discrepancies or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site requirements.
  • Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with site stakeholders, and support a welcoming environment for personnel and visitors.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
