About the Role

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Emergency Preparedness Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, entry points, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control discrepancies or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site requirements.
Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with site stakeholders, and support a welcoming environment for personnel and visitors.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
