About the Role

The Project Finance Credit Delivery team actively manages a portfolio of project finance debt and tax equity investments across the energy industry. This role underwrites extensions and upsizes for existing clients, manages portfolio risk, and identifies emerging credit problems and industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, coordinates, and executes credit event processes including underwritings, refinancings, and amendments.
  • Conducts due diligence, obtains credit approval, and facilitates legal review for transactions.
  • Creates and utilizes analytical financial models for projections, discounted cash flow analysis, leveraged buyout analysis, and valuation.
  • Performs research and analysis on companies, industries, and transactions.
  • Independently manages a smaller portfolio of clients with oversight.
  • Achieves timely submission of annual reviews, underwritings, and amendments.
  • Maintains active ownership and timely processing of quarterly risk ratings.
  • Demonstrates leadership through project management.
  • Supports senior team members in underwriting and portfolio management of complex transactions.
  • Trains and mentors Analysts and Summer Interns, and participates in recruiting.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 3 years of experience in underwriting and portfolio management
  • Strong understanding of accounting, credit, financial modeling, structuring, and underwriting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Licenses: Series 79; Series 63; SIE (May be earned within 120 days after start date)
