About the Role
The Sales Enablement Specialist serves as the central operational support role between sales and internal business functions to support correct data input and management across respective systems. The position is responsible for customer account creation and maintenance across Salesforce, SAP and DVI systems, coordination of sales-related operational activities, maintenance of pricing information, support sales accounts and product portfolio data processes, preparation of sales reporting and analytics, and cross-functional communication. The role ensures accurate customer data, timely processing of requests, effective coordination between departments, and continuous improvement of operational sales processes. The Sales Enablement Specialist supports business performance by maintaining system integrity, providing timely reporting, and driving operational efficiency across sales-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update customer accounts across Salesforce, SAP, and DVI.
- Coordinate account readiness by working with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Shipping to ensure customers are properly established and operationally enabled.
- Govern customer master data by maintaining accurate, complete, and consistent records across business systems.
- Support account changes, master data maintenance, resolve data discrepancies and duplicate records, perform data quality reviews, and system cleanup activities according to established policies, standards and procedures.
- Manage Partner Program account updates and related system administration.
- Support sales-related operational activities, including account setup, order coordination, and customer onboarding processes.
- Coordinate ECP, VCS, and other sales support activities to ensure timely execution and delivery.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Shipping, Finance, and Marketing to resolve issues and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Track requests, manage follow-up activities, and ensure timely execution of operational commitments.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and support the preparation of required sales reports and analytics pulling data from various sources and systems.
- Deliver accurate reporting and business insights to support decision-making.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests and data analysis needs.
- Maintain and validate pricing information across business systems, ensuring pricing consistency and accuracy.
- Act as a central point of contact for sales operations inquiries and requests.
- Coordinate activities across Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Shipping, Marketing, and other internal teams.
- Communicate updates, facilitate issue resolution, and facilitate effective handoffs between departments.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and training materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate activities, and increase operational efficiency.
- Maintain operational knowledge repositories and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales operations, customer service, account administration, business reporting, or related business functions.
- Experience working with CRM, ERP, reporting, or customer management systems; experience creating reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI preferred.
- Basic understanding of SQL requests and data analysis is highly preferred; experience working with Salesforce and SAP strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of optical lens products is considered an asset.
