About the Role

Brentford FC is recruiting Fan Support Team Members in a casual capacity to enhance the matchday experience for fans at the Gtech Community Stadium. The role involves offering a friendly presence, providing information, and supporting fans.

Responsibilities

  • Create and promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all supporters.
  • Support fans entering, exiting, and navigating the stadium, providing information, directions, and assistance.
  • Provide accessibility support for home and away supporters, including wheelchair assistance.
  • Gather supporter feedback on matchdays and assist with comments, suggestions, and complaints.
  • Provide information and guidance regarding the local area, community initiatives, and transport options.
  • Support the delivery of stadium tours, fan events, and other Brentford FC fixtures and events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding matchday experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Club policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and data regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with the Club’s Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical, and social requirements.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships internally and externally, maintaining a professional image.
  • Keep confidential any information gained regarding the Club and its personnel.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to work at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with all Matchday Safeguarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with the Club’s Safeguarding Policy and processes.
  • Promote and support positive mental health and wellbeing throughout the Club.
  • Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion at the Club, in line with our EDI strategy.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Interest in working within the football industry in a matchday environment.
  • Experience in providing good customer service.
  • Interest in fan engagement.
  • Ability to deal with complaints and suggestions with empathy.
  • Reliable and committed to the role, including attending required training and briefing sessions.
  • Available to work a variety of hours, including weekends, evenings, and most matchdays.
  • Must complete a full application form; a CV alone is not sufficient.
  • May require additional background checks such as DBS and police checks.
  • May require completion of a Declaration of Offences Form if shortlisted for an interview for roles involving regulated activity.
