About the Role

This Business Development Associate role on the Enterprise team focuses on selling ATOMS Food products and services to top restaurant brands, building strategic partnerships to drive growth and scale. You will own a market, identify operators, build relationships, pitch solutions, and secure deals. This involves analyzing data like delivery volumes, P&L pro formas, and cannibalization risk to build a compelling case for potential partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build deep, structured analyses of enterprise restaurant brands, including unit economics, development pipeline, franchisee vs. corporate mix, delivery penetration, capital position, and competitive exposure.
  • Model market opportunities, quantify the ROIC case for facilities, and pressure-test assumptions.
  • Utilize data tools such as Trino, Salesforce, Otter, and delivery marketplace data, partnering with Strategy and Analytics for deeper insights.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear narratives for stakeholders.
  • Own a defined set of enterprise accounts, developing theses, identifying entry points, and initiating conversations with a unique point of view.
  • Conduct targeted, research-led outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry events.
  • Support multi-stakeholder deal cycles alongside senior sellers, tailoring the case for development, operations, finance, and franchising teams.
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce data for pipeline, account activity, and forecasts.
  • Track the enterprise restaurant landscape, including development announcements, earnings commentary, franchise system changes, delivery strategy shifts, and competitor moves.
  • Build and maintain account prioritization and territory logic, defending it with data.
  • Communicate operator feedback and market signals to Product, Strategy, and leadership teams.
  • Leverage AI to accelerate research, modeling, and reporting cycles.
  • Develop reusable analysis assets like templates, models, and dashboards to improve team efficiency.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, strategy, revenue operations, growth, or a research-heavy BD/GTM role.
  • Strong analytical horsepower, with the ability to build models from scratch, reason about unit economics, and identify relevant data points.
  • Fluency in Excel/Sheets.
  • Structured thinking skills to develop defensible points of view in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analysis into concise memos or presentations.
  • Commercial instinct and a drive to close deals.
  • High sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment with shifting priorities and evolving playbooks.
  • Salesforce and sales tooling experience is a plus.
