About the Role
Teal Health is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to build and optimize systems, journeys, and personalized touchpoints to engage patients from interest to action and encourage adherence to preventive care. This role owns lifecycle strategy and execution across the entire patient funnel, aiming to create a personalized, data-driven patient engagement engine that improves conversion and adherence.
Responsibilities
- Own lifecycle strategy and execution across Teal’s direct-to-consumer and B2B patient journeys, from initial outreach and acquisition through screening completion, follow-up care, retention, and repeat engagement.
- Build, optimize, and continuously improve patient journeys that increase conversion, appointment attendance, kit return rates, abnormal follow-up adherence, and repeat screening participation.
- Develop highly personalized, segmented lifecycle programs across the full Teal channel stack and patient journey— email, SMS, portal chat, portal reminders, direct mail, voice AI and ringless voicemail.
- Design and implement lifecycle infrastructure, CRM systems, automation, and engagement tools to create a scalable, intelligent, and personalized patient engagement engine.
- Continually refine audience segmentation, behavioral triggers, and patient journeys to reduce friction and improve funnel movement.
- Create and execute structured testing programs across messaging, timing, channels, incentives, and patient experiences to improve conversion and adherence outcomes.
- Own lifecycle analytics, reporting, and funnel performance measurement, identifying drop-off points and translating patient behavior insights into actionable recommendations.
- Partner closely with product, growth, engineering, medical operations, revenue strategy, and customer support teams to optimize onboarding, patient flows, and the end-to-end experience.
- Manage HIPAA- and TCPA-compliant lifecycle communications and privacy-safe engagement practices across all patient touchpoints, including proper consent and opt-out handling across SMS, voice, and automated channels.
- Stay current on lifecycle marketing best practices, consumer behavior trends, personalization strategies, and healthcare engagement innovations.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention, growth marketing, or customer journey optimization with a proven track record of measurable business impact
- Proven experience building and optimizing lifecycle programs and reporting dashboards across multiple channels and systems
- Strong experimentation discipline — designing tests and reading funnel data to identify what genuinely moves outcomes, and investing behind it.
- Strong working command of HIPAA and TCPA for patient communications a plus — PHI-safe practices and proper consent/opt-out handling, with the judgment to distinguish marketing from treatment/appointment messages and apply the right consent standard to each.
- Experience building highly personalized customer journeys focused on conversion using lifecycle platforms such as HubSpot, Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Customer.io, Klaviyo, or similar.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using customer and funnel data to identify opportunities and improve performance.
- Strong ownership mentality with the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and prioritization skills.

About the Company
- At Teal Health, we’re on a mission to provide women with the tools, access, and resources they need to make informed decisions about their health, starting with cervical cancer screening.
- We believe it’s time to redesign women’s health and put women, their preferences, and their experiences at the center. By offering women the choice to self-collect from the comfort and convenience of home, we can expand access to life-saving preventive care and help eliminate cervical cancer in the U.S.
- Our Values: We boldly champion the future women deserve. And we do this through our values, which are to elevate women, expect exceptional, and learning, every day. The Teal team lives our values and uses them to guide our decisions when building Teal.
- We believe that: Working together should be challenging, fun, and supportive. Decisions are made better by including diverse perspectives and respectfully challenging one another. We should be insanely proud of the work we put into the world. Great companies are built by investing in exceptional people and teams. Hard work matters, but so does making space to recharge and celebrate wins. We view AI as a powerful co-pilot, not the driver. We encourage candidates to leverage AI tools to optimize their workflows and scale their impact, provided it enhances—rather than replaces—the critical thinking and original effort required for the role.
Equal Opportunity
- Teal Health is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
