About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries as a Part-Time Security Officer. This role offers flexibility with scheduling and opportunities to explore new roles through the Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, access points, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or potential security concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, observe activity, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, or incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
