About the Role

Leap Health's Clinical Operations function is scaling rapidly, and this role will provide a strategic engine for that growth. The Director of Clinical Strategy & Operations will own the company's highest-value cross-functional initiatives from conception to completion, including large client launches, condition-specific experimentation, and activation experiments. This role involves designing experiments, defining success metrics, and driving initiatives across various departments. The position reports to the Head of Member Operations and Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the charter and execution of Leap's highest-value cross-functional efforts, acting as the project lead from design through results.
  • Design structured experiments, defining hypotheses, success metrics, timelines, and owners before work begins, and translating results into actionable decisions.
  • Drive alignment across Client Success, Marketing, Data & Analytics, and Engineering to ensure company-wide initiatives progress.
  • Partner closely with managers of Intake Operations, Care Operations, and Care Guide to ensure initiatives and experiments are executed as designed.
  • Serve as an informal escalation point for execution issues.
  • Build operating models and playbooks for the Strategy & Operations Manager and team managers.
  • Act as a thought partner to the Head of Member Operations and Strategy on Clinical Operations direction.
  • Transform ambiguous, company-wide problems into structured plans with clear owners, metrics, and timelines.
  • Represent Clinical Operations in company-wide strategic conversations.

Requirements

  • 6-8+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, or Consulting, combined with meaningful hands-on operating experience at a startup.
  • A track record of designing and running structured experiments and translating results into decisions.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives without formal authority over all stakeholders.
  • Comfortable owning ambiguous, company-wide problems end to end, from framing through execution to results.
  • Operationally tech-savvy, with experience building dashboards (Looker, Omni, or similar) and hands-on tooling.
  • Experience scaling operations through a 3x+ growth period (preferred).
  • Experience managing people directly, or a desire to build toward it (preferred).
  • Healthcare, benefits, or other regulated-industry experience (preferred).
