About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. Provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees in a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, exterior areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
