Responsibilities

  • Apply clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
  • Collaboratively develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
  • Deliver skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
  • Track meaningful patient outcomes and adjust your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
  • Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
  • Passion for evidence-based, patient centered care
  • CPR and first aid certification required
  • Experience with outpatient orthopedic physical therapy treatment as a licensed therapist or during clinical rotations for new grads
  • Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, including exposure to post-operative care, overuse injuries, gait and balance assessment, and sports-related conditions.
