About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support a diverse volunteer team for disaster cycle services programming.
  • Ensure disaster cycle services are delivered rapidly, accessibly, and equitably.
  • Assist with the implementation of specific disaster cycle services program activities or functions.
  • Engage disaster volunteers who represent the communities they serve.
  • Support local efforts to prepare and mobilize communities for disasters.
  • Act as the local point of contact for partners and communities.
  • Partner with local organizations and leaders to support frontline communities and resiliency.
  • Participate in disaster response operations in alignment with the Disaster Cycle Services Concept of Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to work outside of regular duty hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Employees are expected to work daily in their assigned geographic area.
