About the Role
As a Patient Care Technician in the ICU, you will provide essential care to patients, including drawing blood and taking vital signs. Your expertise and customer service skills will directly impact patient well-being and support the nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record patient vital signs including body temperature, pulse respiration, and blood pressure.
- Report abnormal findings to the nursing team.
- Collaborate with a team of nurses.
- Provide direct patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous direct patient care experience or applicable certification (Patient Care Tech/Nursing Attendant/Medical Assistant).
- Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association required.
