About the Role
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for safely coordinating activities within the assigned program, including company and temporary employees. This role involves inspecting areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation and OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties of employees within the assigned program.
- Train, supervise, and instruct employees on tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommending training and discipline.
- Prepare written reports, such as pass down, weekly, or monthly.
- Conduct quality, service, and safety inspections.
- Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
- Track supplies and maintain inventory.
- Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Report employee personnel and customer issues to the manager.
- Correct at-risk behavior immediately and report to the manager.
- Provide recommendations for corrective actions on areas needing improvement.
- Maintain records, including training, inspections, attendance, and metric data.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization policies and laws, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, performance evaluations, rewarding/disciplining employees, and resolving problems.
- Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
- Some travel may be required.
Requirements
- Six months to 1-year related experience and/or training.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- May require a valid driver's license.
- May require Forklift Certification.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of Database software.
- Knowledge of Internet software.
- Knowledge of Spreadsheet software.
- Knowledge of Word Processing software.
- Good written and verbal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
