About the Role
As a Resident Service Coordinator, you will provide critical social services and on-site support that help residents live independently and thrive within the community. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social impact, community engagement, and supporting diverse populations including seniors and families. You’ll connect residents with essential resources, coordinate services, and deliver programs that improve quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Connect residents to local social services, healthcare, and community resources
- Coordinate and lead resident programs, activities, and wellness initiatives
- Assist residents with applications, recertifications, and social service documentation
- Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and resident records
- Conduct resident check-ins and apartment visits as needed
- Respond to urgent situations and support resident needs in real time
- Partner with property management and maintenance teams to support the overall resident experience
Requirements
- 1–2+ years of experience in social services, case management, or community support
- Experience working with elderly populations and/or families
- Knowledge of local community resources and supportive service programs
- Strong organizational, documentation, and administrative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities
- A passion for helping others live independently and improve their quality of life
- Ability to work on-site during scheduled hours
- Strong professionalism, judgment, and ability to manage sensitive situations
- Ability to adapt, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities
