About the Role
As a Rehabilitation Assistant supporting our London Boler clinic, you will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload. This role is ideal for a dynamic, versatile individual energized by a busy schedule, who can demonstrate strong computer, analytical and organizational skills and success in meeting timelines.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist
- Assist with the Physiotherapist’s caseloads
- Assemble chart packages and bar-code charts for offsite storage
- Process and perform clerical audits for discharged patient charts
- Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards
- Mail out satisfaction surveys to patients and their families
- Perform administrative tasks, including answering phones, processing supply orders and photocopying documents
- Upload service provider reports
Requirements
- A Kinesiology degree or PTA/OTA diploma
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- The ability to work under pressure and to take and follow direction
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
