About the Role
This position assists the Property Manager in effectively managing the property and assumes the Property Manager's responsibilities in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate and organized resident records
- Posts all rents, deposits, fees, and daily bank deposit
- Prepares and delivers timely 90-60-30-day renewal notices to residents
- Conducts recertification and background checks
- Issues appropriate notices for late payments, evictions, and NSF checks
- Prepares and updates reports as delegated by the Property Manager
- Greets prospective residents, shows the property, and performs all necessary leasing functions
- Handles resident and vendor calls as delegated
- Accepts service requests and routes them to maintenance
- Inspects move-out and vacant units as requested by the Property Manager
- Works cooperatively with Resident Services staff to support resident housing stability
Requirements
- Possesses sound judgment to resolve problems and make routine recommendations
- Requires little to no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments
- Requires Fair Housing training
