About the Role

This position assists the Property Manager in effectively managing the property and assumes the Property Manager's responsibilities in their absence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate and organized resident records
  • Posts all rents, deposits, fees, and daily bank deposit
  • Prepares and delivers timely 90-60-30-day renewal notices to residents
  • Conducts recertification and background checks
  • Issues appropriate notices for late payments, evictions, and NSF checks
  • Prepares and updates reports as delegated by the Property Manager
  • Greets prospective residents, shows the property, and performs all necessary leasing functions
  • Handles resident and vendor calls as delegated
  • Accepts service requests and routes them to maintenance
  • Inspects move-out and vacant units as requested by the Property Manager
  • Works cooperatively with Resident Services staff to support resident housing stability

Requirements

  • Possesses sound judgment to resolve problems and make routine recommendations
  • Requires little to no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments
  • Requires Fair Housing training
