About the Role
The Resident Care Associate (RCA) provides general non-certified routine services to support Assisted Living, AL Memory Care, and Independent Living residents, following established procedures under supervisor direction.
Responsibilities
- Assists with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and changing unoccupied beds.
- Provides resident assistance with activities of daily living such as hygiene care, incontinence assistance, bathing, and grooming.
- Assists with all aspects of meal service, including transporting residents to dining areas and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Responds promptly to resident call lights.
- Frequently checks on residents who are unable to call for help.
- Assists clinical staff in making residents comfortable by checking sitting position and passing hydration.
- Performs personal care responsibilities in accordance with state regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
- 0-1 Years of relevant experience preferred.
- Criminal record check required as a condition of employment in WI, IN, OH, MI & KY.
