About the Role

Brain Co. is seeking leaders to help bring new technology into institutions that impact millions of people. Joining now means shaping both the company and a new category of applied AI. Every project ships to production and is expected to create measurable customer value and impact. You'll work alongside exceptional peers on some of the hardest problems in applied AI.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive assessments of target companies’ AI strategies, data infrastructure, and technical maturity.
• Synthesize findings into clear, business-oriented insights on opportunities, risks, and value creation potential.
• Partner with engagement lead to manage private equity and corporate sponsor relationships.
• Prepare materials, manage workstreams, and contribute to client-facing presentations and deliverables.
• Translate complex AI/ML capabilities into actionable recommendations for investment committees and portfolio executives.
• Refine and deliver strategic narratives.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to scope, prioritize, and define AI solutions within sponsor-backed assets.
• Support commercial outcomes and technical feasibility assessments.
• Own discrete workstreams within diligence engagements, managing day-to-day execution from research through deliverable production with high analytical rigor.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years of professional experience.
• Background in top-tier consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG), private equity, and/or AI technology companies preferred.
• Startup or high-growth operating experience preferred; comfort with ambiguity and moving fast.
• Experience contributing to complex diligence processes, strategic analysis, or technical evaluation processes.

Skills

• Strong technical literacy in AI/ML, with the ability to evaluate data pipelines, model strategies, and infrastructure at a high level.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to turn complex analyses into clear insights.
• Executive-level communication; proven ability to influence senior sponsors, investors, and portfolio executives.
• Low-ego, hands-on operator who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Commercial instinct and ownership mindset — capable of connecting AI opportunities directly to value creation.
