About the Role

Harvey is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own client engineering end-to-end, including Jamf, Intune, Autopilot, Okta device trust, and related automation. This role is responsible for defining how laptops are built, secured, patched, recovered, and retired, ensuring these processes scale globally.

Responsibilities

• Own the endpoint platform, including Jamf Pro for macOS, Intune and Autopilot for Windows, and the mobile fleet.
• Set configuration standards, patching cadence, and compliance baselines in partnership with Security.
• Engineer the device lifecycle, including zero-touch provisioning, automated onboarding/offboarding, hardware refreshes, DLP, and forensics.
• Replace manual processes in the device lifecycle with code and automation.
• Build automation for the fleet using Python and scripts against Jamf, Intune, and Okta APIs, event-driven workflows, and self-service tools.
• Partner with Security on endpoint posture, including endpoint policies, EDR coverage, device trust, Okta FastPass, disk encryption, key escrow, and browser management.
• Serve as the final escalation point for complex endpoint issues.
• Support a global company with a heavy in-person component, building solutions for different time zones and documenting processes for local teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in endpoint, client, or IT systems engineering.
• Direct ownership of a macOS MDM environment with 1000+ devices.
• Deep hands-on Jamf experience.
• Real Windows management experience via Intune, Autopilot, and Entra.
• Strong scripting and automation ability in Python, Bash, or Swift.
• Track record of building tooling against vendor APIs.
• Working fluency with an IdP, Okta preferred, covering SSO, MFA, and device trust.
• Understanding of how identity and endpoint policy interact.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with non-technical teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment.
