About the Role

The Sr. Sales Strategy Manager, Genesis will support Genesis Motor America by developing and executing product and program strategies to drive asset growth across various channels and enhance the retailer experience. This role acts as a liaison between Genesis Finance and OEM representatives, leading sales development initiatives and optimizing performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy sales strategies to drive KPI achievement in support of Genesis Finance and OEM corporate initiatives.
  • Lead sales development initiatives to support Regional Sales Directors in achieving strategic sales goals, refining forecasting methodologies and tracking performance metrics.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Genesis Finance Regional Sales Directors and OEM Regional General Managers to ensure strategic alignment and seamless collaboration across the designated region.
  • Support commercial asset growth across retail, lease, commercial, insurance and CPO channels to enhance the overall retailer experience, service level optimization, and Genesis Finance’s market presence.
  • Partner with Business Development Managers and Regional Sales Directors to drive new car programs and CPO product sales, ensuring effective communication of OEM initiatives to Retailer partners.
  • Collaborate across regional activities to enhance engagement and product and program performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for OEM retailer meetings, joint business planning and issue resolution.
  • Maintain supportive presence at key OEM and Retailer meetings and events.
  • Foster OEM, Captive, and Retailer relationships ensuring alignment and awareness of programs, products, resources, and opportunities.
  • Assist with regional training & development of evolving administrative reporting, digitalization, and Retailer self-service tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years progressive experience across full spectrum Captive automotive lending products, including Retail & Lease financing, Commercial Floorplan, Remarketing solutions, and Aftermarket Protection products.
  • OEM field sales, Captive, and/or luxury automotive brand experience preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of exceeding company-defined goals through a consultative sales approach.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with OEM regions and Retailer partners, enhancing engagement and performance.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, market expansion, and business development.
