About the Role
The Assistant Merchandiser for Lucky Brand Women’s Fashion provides organizational support to the Merchandising team and partners with their Merchandiser on day-to-day business operations. This role leverages organizational and analytical skills, along with an eye for trends, to support the brand and achieve financial goals. The Assistant Merchandiser supports an omni channel business, maintaining a 360-degree view of store and ecommerce channels.
Responsibilities
- Possess knowledge of overall department to provide team members with requested information.
- Analyze and identify best and slow sellers by generating selling reports and reviewing with the team.
- Demonstrate awareness of competitor landscape, trends, and the target customer through research and competitor shopping.
- Manage the sample process, ensuring samples are organized and categorized appropriately, and execute seasonal cleanups.
- Anticipate department needs for milestone meetings each season and prepare necessary samples.
- Participate in milestone meetings, recap, prioritize action items, and follow up as needed.
- Update and monitor on-order and shipping reports, surfacing issues and providing potential solutions.
- Create and track Third Party POs.
- Understand the roles of the cross-functional team and foster relationships for efficient collaboration.
- Complete data entry for day-to-day product management.
- Manage product assortment and internal systems.
- Work with the Merchandiser to filter information, draw inferences, create solutions, and adjust strategies.
- Proactively seek new opportunities to grow the business and further personal and professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions.
- Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means.
- Ability to reach at or below shoulder level.
- Ability to carry equipment and move boxes/samples.
