About the Role
As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be the face of our brand, serving as the first point of contact for our valued customers. You will be responsible for meeting sales objectives and targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Handling inbound client interactions to identify and solicit potential and existing clients to promote sales.
- Recommending appropriate products or services by assessing clients’ needs and resources while leveraging applicable promotions.
- Conducting outbound calls to follow-up on client sales and inquiries, as well as consulting with clients after sale to provide support and resolve issues.
- Providing technical solutions to clients where products or services must be tailored to suit their needs.
- Acquiring and maintaining technical knowledge of GFiber Internet solutions, IPTV, and Home phone services provided through specialized training.
- Managing call flows, providing first call resolution, and satisfying client expectations.
- Leveraging program tools and processes to illustrate benefits of the service and product offerings.
- Estimating cost of activation and maintenance to the equipment or service.
- Verifying and updating critical customer information by accessing client’s database and customer resource management software.
- Reviewing and compiling competitors’ activities and developing awareness of trends and potential markets.
- Accurately accessing customers’ information through the client’s database to update and verify critical information.
- Providing ongoing technical support and resolution to any technical problems related to products and services.
- Maintaining technical knowledge about products and services to explain features and benefits to clients and answer any questions.
- Implementing sales strategies to achieve personal and business goals.
- Conducting sales transactions through online e-commerce software.
- Offering feedback to management for methods of improving performance and results.
Requirements
- Sales experience is a must, with preferred outside sales experience (field sales an asset).
- Excels in a target-driven environment.
- Relentless in chasing sales success and motivated to perform in a competitive environment.
- Demonstrated success in a competitive sales environment.
- Experience in Customer Care, Retention is an asset.
- Strong ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to use sales scripting and dynamically adjust to prospect needs.
- Familiarity with servicing customers in the United States is an asset.
- Experience in telco or fiber internet sales is an asset.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings.
- High-speed internet with a minimum 30mb/s download and 10mb/s upload speeds (No Satellite Internet).
- A physical space that is private and free of distraction for your PC and Monitor near a router or modem.
- Must be connected via Ethernet port and not by Wi-Fi.
- Ability to download and use the Google Authenticator app.
- Must have iOS 11 or Android version 10 (or newer).
