About the Role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide flexible and dependable security services. This role offers consistent hours at an assigned site with the opportunity to earn more by picking up additional shifts, ideal for those seeking part-time employment with income stability and potential for full-time growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Screen visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific access procedures.
• Verify identification and authorization for entry, maintain visitor logs, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
