As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document incidents, patrol findings, and unusual activities through accurate reports and shift communications.
Requirements
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
