About the Role

The Executive Associate Program is designed for 2nd year MBA students seeking to accelerate their careers at M&T Bank. Program hires will gain an immersive leadership experience focused on developing leadership competencies and strategic capabilities. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence projects with enterprise-wide visibility while developing a deep understanding of commercial banking and the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

Participate in planning and implementing new products, programs, and initiatives to achieve business objectives.
Support the development of project roadmaps and plans.
Provide analytical support for critical Bank-wide or divisional projects.
Analyze complex data sets and optimize data structures.
Develop and produce departmental analyses and reports, including workflow, project, and strategic analysis.
Synthesize qualitative and quantitative information for analysis and decision-making.
Coordinate discussions and agenda development for meetings with external peers, industry groups, agencies, and officials.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards.
Complete other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Completed MBA from an accredited business school.
Minimum of 3 years’ professional work experience.
Demonstrated leadership potential.
