About the Role
The Research Resources & Acquisitions Analyst administers the firm's acquisitions and contract support functions for research resources. This position coordinates renewals, attorney surveys, invoice processing, vendor communications, and contract administration while maintaining accurate financial and acquisitions records. The Analyst supports the Manager by coordinating operational aspects of the acquisitions lifecycle and ensuring efficient execution of acquisitions processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates acquisitions, renewals, and cancellations for research resources.
- Assists with preparation for procurement, privacy and information security reviews.
- Serves as the primary contact for routine vendor communications regarding renewals, pricing, invoices, access, and account administration.
- Resolves routine vendor issues and escalates complex matters to the Manager as appropriate.
- Coordinates with vendors and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (M.L.S., MLIS or equivalent). Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to effectively manage work to high quality standards, with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the firm in a professional manner.
- Advanced arithmetic skills (compute rate, ratio, percent; able to draw and interpret graphs and charts).
- Ability to solve practical problems, dealing with a variety of variables where little standardization exists.

- Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY: $91,500- $146,325

- Seattle, WA and Washington, DC: $87,800 - $140,450
