About the Role

The Associate Director of Gastroenterology Consumer Marketing will advance patient education for people living with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). This individual translates EoE brand strategy into best-in-class execution, with primary ownership of the digital ecosystem, non-personal promotion, and patient engagement programs. Success requires exceptional attention to detail, navigating a matrixed organization, and a self-directed drive to turn strategy into flawless execution. This position reports to the Director, GI Consumer Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Translating EoE brand strategy into flawless tactical execution for the consumer non-personal promotion ecosystem, driving each asset from brief through medical/legal/regulatory approval and in-market launch.
  • Owning the EoE consumer CRM program email content, cadence, segmentation, and personalization across the patient and caregiver journey.
  • Owning the EoE website and content experience, keeping it discoverable across evolving search environments and adopting new data and audience capabilities.
  • Managing the materials life cycle for consumer materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing multiple external agencies across briefs, timelines, SOWs, and budgets.
  • Supporting media planning and buying across digital and offline channels.
  • Translating data from marketing mix models, campaign analytics, market research, and consumer behavior into actionable optimizations.
  • Serving as the day-to-day Regeneron consumer lead within the alliance, driving brand alignment and building consensus.
  • Leading patient engagement and education programs from concept through measurement and learning.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Patient Support Services, Advocacy, Communications, HCP marketing, Sales, and Global partners.
  • Ensuring all marketing processes, programs, and materials are developed and administered consistently with corporate guidance and all regulatory, legal, and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree (required); an MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive industry or relevant professional experience.
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech marketing, product management, or DTC/consumer experience.
  • Experience in Gastroenterology and/or Immunology preferred.
  • Alliance / co-promote experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple external agencies and navigate MLR/JRC review processes.
