About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
