About the Role

Responsibilities
- Independently perform all technical aspects of prescription preparation, including compounding and dispensing.
- Replenish stock medication supplies for assigned areas.
- Update and maintain patient information in the pharmacy computer system.
- Complete all required reports and documentation.
- Attend, participate, and assist in staff and patient training/educational functions.
- Perform workload measurement support functions.
- Perform cross-functional and/or other duties consistent with the job classification.
Requirements
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program at an accredited college or recognized equivalent.
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician (Part A) in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to learn and troubleshoot changing technologies/machinery.
- Two years of practical and related experience preferred.
- Previous hospital experience with unit dose system and intravenous admixture service preferred.
- Current UHN employees must have successfully completed their probationary period, have a good employee record, and satisfactory attendance.
- A Criminal Record Check may be required.

- CAD 27.56 - CAD 34.45 per hour
