About the Role

Assists food servers in providing friendly and efficient service to guests in the assigned area. Responsibilities include clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, transporting dirty tableware, completing assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks, and maintaining adequate inventory of products and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with guests and associates.
  • Receives and restocks all supplies delivered from the main warehouse.
  • Stocks Beverage station with ice and other essentials.
  • Removes trash and recyclables.
  • Keeps all areas clean and properly stocked.
  • Clears, sanitizes, and resets tables in accordance with established procedures.
  • Accomplishes all assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks according to F&B S.O.P.’s.
  • Follows prescribed service standards as they apply to the position and the F&B S.O.P.’s.
  • Must become TIPS certified and have a solid comprehension of the training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school education or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months of related experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other associates.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must obtain and maintain a St. Regis Tribal Gaming Work Permit, which requires a criminal background check.
  • Successful candidates must submit to and pass a drug test for illegal substances prior to employment confirmation.
