About the Role
As a Merchandiser Floater, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, while also supporting fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. On occasion, you may have the opportunity to work with other companies' products in the stores you service.
Responsibilities
- Perform service work in Hallmark departments within various retail stores, including grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers.
- Restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products using a provided mobile device.
- Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and answer surveys via technology.
- Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
- Manage the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
- Provide additional support and extended hours during peak holiday seasons (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), potentially including working on the actual holidays and weekends.
- Participate in department resets, including building and installing fixtures, relocating departments and products, and resetting card sections, typically with two weeks' advance notice.
- Support other team members in their territories as part of Hallmark's field organization.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
- Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
- Must show how you meet the basic qualifications in a resume or document you upload, or by completing the work experience and education application fields.
- Accepted file types are DOCX and PDF.
- Employment is contingent upon signing the Employment Agreement, signing an agreement to arbitrate, completing Form I-9, and successfully passing a pre-employment background check.
