About the Role

Indera (formerly ARISE/EFR) is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work in the Mattydale area with a 17-year-old. He is looking for energetic, open minded, respectful and dedicated staff to engage in activities with him in the community. Other responsibilities include providing him with transportation in the community and being a good role model. His current interests include music, the arts, and Chinese food.

Responsibilities

Engage in activities with the individual in the community.
Provide transportation for the individual in the community.
Serve as a positive role model.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license.
Effective communication and organizational skills required.
Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a plus but not a requirement.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license is required for this position.
Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire.
