About the Role
The Digital Marketing Assistant (DMA) will support the creation and delivery of content to increase student awareness of services, support, and resources within the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences (FLAS). The role involves producing, maintaining, and distributing digital media including social media, video, photography, graphic design, and website content. The DMA will collaborate with other media students and internal/external partners, and provide videography and photography support across Humber's main campuses.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation and delivery of content to increase student awareness of FLAS services, support, and resources.
- Produce, maintain, and distribute digital media including social media, video, photography, graphic design, and website content.
- Collaborate with fellow media focused work-study students.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Provide videography and photography support across all of Humber’s main campuses during the school year.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in content management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital and print media content creation.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in photography.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in video production.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital media editing.
- Experience managing social media channels including, but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Strong understanding of website and media analytics and how to implement changes to improve outreach based on analytics.
- Knowledge of how to create ads on Google, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Experience with a content management system (Later preferred).
- Experience with interviewing, sourcing story leads, and presentations will be considered an asset.
