About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Manage access points, verify credentials, monitor entry and exit activity, and assist with security-related incidents. Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter unauthorized access.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
- Respond to access-control issues, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity, damaged access-control equipment, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
