About the Role

This Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position offers a flexible and dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with Allied Universal. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking-up additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and help to deter unauthorized access to the facility.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, delivery partners, and management while documenting observations, incidents, and access-related activities.

Requirements

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
