About the Role

As a Sr Product Software Engineer, you will help our team build our linear advertising platform. You should bring a willingness to communicate and collaborate across teams, an understanding of project ownership, a passion for mentoring and learning in a dynamic environment, and knowledge of micro-service encapsulation and operational metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and testing solutions in a high-throughput, low-latency microservices environment.
  • Enhancing systems’ observability with proper metrics, monitors, and alerts.
  • Translating product user stories into actionable tasks.
  • Taking ownership of one or more of the team's domain areas.
  • Using automated tools (AI) while adhering to company policy.
  • Being available for On-Call rotations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot and ORMs.
  • Experience with ReactJS or similar frontend frameworks.
  • Experience with relational databases, such as MySQL or Postgres.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and Redis.
  • Demonstrable analytical / problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication, collaboration skills, and a strong teamwork ethic.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience with modern DevOps tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with data streaming mechanisms such as Apache Kafka, Kinesis, and/or SNS/SQS.
  • Familiarity with AI Coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code and/or Github Copilot.
  • Familiarity with Python programming language.
  • Ability to develop, refine, and evaluate prompts and workflows for LLM-based APIs.
  • Ability to build and support agentic workflows, including multi-step, tool-using agents and multiagent orchestration patterns.
  • Domain knowledge in the Ad Tech industry.

  • New York, NY: $148,700 - $199,400
