About the Role

The Analyst/Associate will concentrate on the marketing of municipal new issues to clients and internal stakeholders to broaden distribution and enhance connectivity with municipal investors. The role will also focus on designing and implementing innovative data-driven approaches to support new issue structures/pricing levels and track investor feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical, quantitative, and operational support for bespoke financing structures.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials for product offerings, reflecting current market conditions.
  • Collaborate with Public Finance bankers and the salesforce to identify client needs and design solutions.
  • Develop and participate in presentations to municipal borrowers, not-for-profit borrowers, and institutional investors.
  • Collaborate with other desks and market makers to support trading activities for short-term and long-term products.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Developed understanding of municipal markets.
  • Experience in municipal public finance, debt capital markets, or a related structured finance/fixed income role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or VBA is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Curious, inquisitive, collaborative, detail-oriented, analytical, self-starting, and team-oriented.
  • Eager to utilize new technologies, data, and automation to enhance traditional municipal syndicate and financing functions.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple high-priority projects.
