About the Role

This role is within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Credit team, focusing on the Power & Renewables industry. You will be a senior member of deal teams, responsible for credit assessment, deal execution, structuring, analysis, risk assessment, and ongoing monitoring of borrowers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed credit submissions for transactions, detailing risks and mitigants, and including a review of financial performance and key metrics.
  • Manage workflow of deal teams and train junior members.
  • Ensure credit reviews include appropriate analysis, such as risk rating assessment, leveraged lending analysis, and detailed projections and sensitivities.
  • Conduct market, industry, and client research to support risk assessment.
  • Review loan and security documentation to accurately reflect credit authorization details.
  • Oversee and monitor borrower performance for compliance and prepare High Risk Reports.
  • Collaborate with Investment Banking and other product groups to provide a holistic view of transactions.
  • Demonstrate governance, control, and risk management behaviors aligned with TD policies.
  • Participate in project working groups and committees.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and coordinate with other business units.

Requirements

  • Minimum 9-10 years of related experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics.
  • Series 79, 63, SIE certifications.
  • Well-organized with leadership qualities.
