About the Role
RSM Canada is seeking a professional to develop strong client relationships by understanding their businesses and challenges. This role involves working on multiple team engagements, contributing to various aspects of assignments, and fostering a mutually respectful team environment that balances career and personal life.
Responsibilities
- Work on client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, and completing tax and transfer pricing projects.
- Collaborate with associates and managers on tax and transfer pricing projects.
- Conduct detailed economic, financial, and accounting analyses demonstrating an understanding of transfer pricing concepts and method application.
- Evaluate intercompany transfers of tangible goods, intangible property, services, and loans.
- Perform financial and economic analyses of multinational and domestic corporations.
- Conduct industry and market research.
- Perform economic valuations and comparative financial benchmarking.
- Prepare report documentation.
- Prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance using MS Word, Excel, and statistical sampling packages.
- Review and analyze GAAP financial statements.
- Interact with client personnel to gather information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Working towards CPA designation.
- Knowledge in financial statement analysis, valuations, quantitative analysis, and industry analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid research and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
