About the Role

Lead and support a team of 50|50 Ambassadors, drive sales and fan engagement, and ensure the operation runs smoothly on event days for MLSE's charitable lottery program.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of 50|50 Ambassadors during games and events.
  • Set the tone for a positive, energetic, and inclusive team environment.
  • Support Ambassadors with sales techniques, fan engagement, and program knowledge.
  • Set up 50|50 kiosks, devices, signage, and other equipment before and after events.
  • Be comfortable with physical event-day work, including lifting, carrying, transporting, and organizing equipment and supplies throughout the venue.
  • Constantly identify opportunities to improve processes and results of the program.
  • Communicate sales updates and key information to Ambassadors throughout the event.
  • Coach Ambassadors in real time and provide feedback to help them build confidence and improve their performance.
  • Support onboarding and training of new Ambassadors, including helping team members become comfortable with sales devices and program processes.
  • Assist with device distribution, collection, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment is accounted for before and after events.
  • Help ensure Ambassadors are properly positioned, prepared, and ready to sell throughout the event.
  • Represent MLSE Foundation and the 50|50 program in a professional, enthusiastic, and fan-first manner.

  • Take initiative and can identify problems before they become bigger issues.
  • Enjoy sports, live entertainment, and being part of a team.
  • Comfortable working on their feet and moving throughout the venue during an event.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, events, or team leadership is a plus.
  • Must be comfortable working across MLSE venues.
  • Must commit to working approximately 80% of available events in a given month.
  • Must be comfortable arriving before events and staying through the end of the event to support setup, training, sales execution, and closeout.
