About the Role
The Senior Sourcing Specialist will lead and facilitate various procurement projects, including complex RFx initiatives and sourcing programs. This role aims to centralize and consolidate company-wide supplier selection to enhance productivity and ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Ensure enterprise compliance with procurement policies, procedures, authorities, directives, legislation, and purchasing by-laws.
- Advise internal clients as a subject matter expert on procurement policy and procedures.
- Integrate planning and procurement, purchasing practices, and supply chain management with executive and senior management to drive efficiencies and align with business objectives.
- Update the vendor pre-qualification process, including packages and evaluation criteria.
- Manage the procurement pipeline for assigned category sourcing initiatives.
- Form and lead cross-functional working teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies.
- Provide expertise in preparing RFx documents, SLAs, and contracts.
- Facilitate and support the contract award process, including drafting RFx materials, managing bid processes, and supporting vendor selection.
- Establish and manage assigned rosters of approved contractors/suppliers/consultants.
- Oversee the implementation of strategic sourcing agreements and identify savings opportunities.
- Conclude vendor negotiations for approved vendor awards.
- Ensure the integrity, reliability, timeliness, and accuracy of financial data, reports, and analyses related to RFx, approvals, and procurement systems.
- Develop and train staff to meet required performance standards.
- Manage and consolidate vendor scorecard development and performance reviews.
- Ensure vendor performance scorecards are implemented and updated.
- Ensure vendors provide reports on applicable programs.
- Support tactical vendor performance management activities, including disqualification processes.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement, preferably in facilities maintenance or construction (commercial or residential), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated success delivering end-to-end Procurement services.
- Broader Public Sector or Property Management experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to work and navigate effectively in a complex organization, projecting ethical leadership.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Several years of experience with automated P2P systems.
- College Diploma in Business, Finance, or Procurement Certification (e.g., OPBA, SCMP), or equivalent related to Real Estate, Construction, or Facilities Management.
- CMA/CPA/B.Comm or Engineering designation would be an asset.

Salary/Compensations
- $107,358 - $118,094
