About the Role

Responsibilities
- Prepares treatment areas and assembles materials for patient care by ensuring cleanliness and safety.
- Prepares patients for therapy while preserving confidentiality and safety.
- Maintains and cleans therapy and exercise equipment, chairs, mats, counters, and toys according to outlined procedures and infection control standards.
- Maintains supply and equipment inventory, laundry, and patient education materials.
- Transports patients with or without special equipment.
- Assists therapists with direct and indirect patient care activities, including monitoring patients during self-directed activities, scoring diagnostic tests, assembling communication boards, and assisting with difficult-to-treat patients.
- Assists with clerical activities as needed to support patient care.
- Fully understands and can communicate the proper use of all fitness equipment.
- Provides oversight for the Wellness Center to ensure patient safety as needed.
- Answers phones, schedules and arrives patients, and files or scans documents to support reception staffing.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.

- Ability to promote and work in a team setting.
