About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Manager to support the Head of Procurement in advancing the department. You will leverage your commercial acumen to implement best practices in projects, managing spending from RFQs to large project procurements via our eProcurement portal. This role requires innovative thinking, stakeholder collaboration, and a focus on driving value for money, strategic projects, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage various aspects of spending from RfQs for tail-end to tendering on our eProcurement portal for large project procurements.
  • Drive best practices in projects.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to lead on procurement understanding.
  • Drive value for money, strategic projects and managing the supply chain.
  • Embed sustainability, social value, and EDI in our supply chain with key suppliers.
  • Manage own time effectively due to dynamic and flexible project involvement.

Requirements

  • Experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Manager.
  • Commercial focus and expertise.
  • Dynamic and flexible.
  • Able to manage own time well.
  • Self-starter with energy and drive.
  • Good background in procurement.
  • Willingness to travel to centers across the U.K.
  • Willingness to stay away from home one or two nights a week if working on key projects.

Salary/Compensations

  • £39,096.00 to £46,915.00
