About the Role
This role is equal parts executive support and business problem-solving, designed to help the CEO of a fast-paced AI company manage critical details, solve unfamiliar problems with speed and judgment, and coordinate complex logistics. It offers an ambitious professional significant exposure and increasing responsibility within the Office of the CEO of a high-growth AI company.
Responsibilities
- Turn requests into outcomes by taking ownership of unfamiliar, multi-step needs, determining the path forward, involving the right people, and driving work to completion.
- Create leverage for the CEO by managing scheduling, travel, meeting preparation, personal logistics, and follow-up with precision.
- Deliver exceptional external experiences for candidates, customers, investors, board members, and partners through thoughtful communication and flawless coordination.
- Help develop important relationships by researching stakeholders, identifying introduction paths, coordinating outreach, and following up persistently.
- Strengthen the Office of the CEO by creating trackers, workflows, briefing materials, daily priority summaries, meeting-preparation standards, and follow-up systems.
- Work across the company by coordinating with founders’ associates, executives, employees, and external vendors, communicating clearly, establishing ownership, and keeping projects moving.
Requirements
- A recent graduate or professional with approximately 0–3 years of experience.
- A strong record of academic, professional, entrepreneurial, or extracurricular achievement.
- High agency and resourcefulness, with the ability to try multiple paths to solve a problem.
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The judgment to handle confidential information and interact professionally with senior executives.
- Comfort moving between strategic projects and hands-on logistics.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn unfamiliar subjects quickly.
- A low-ego, service-oriented approach combined with ambition and a desire to grow.
- Comfort operating in an environment where priorities move quickly and the playbook is still being written.
- Fluency with AI tools and an instinct for using technology to improve work.
- Ability to work from our San Francisco office.
