About the Role

We are looking for mechanical engineers to help develop products from concept through to production. You’ll be part of a small, mission-driven team and have significant ownership over decisions. We’re growing quickly so there are ample opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Design, build & test complex electromechanical systems, including plastic, metal, and soft goods components integrating with novel sensors and actuators.
• Help drive designs across the entire development lifecycle, including brainstorming, CAD, prototyping, testing, and ramp into high-volume production in Asia.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering, industrial design, manufacturing, and product team members to develop products from early stage concepts to mass production.
• Perform various testing and analyses to ensure designs meet product goals, including thermal, fluid, and structural analyses.

Requirements

• Experience with concept development, feasibility studies, and hands-on prototyping.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling (eg. Solidworks, NX, Creo, etc.).
• Familiarity with high volume manufacturing processes, DFM, DFA, tolerance analysis, functional dimensioning and GD&T.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis, DOE, and quality measuring techniques.
• BSME or equivalent. MS preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel to Asia as needed.
