About the Role

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking-up additional shifts. It is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to staff, students, families, visitors, and performers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout rehearsal, performance, office, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity during rehearsals, classes, performances, and special events, assisting with directions and entry procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
