About the Role

AMC Global Media is seeking an Analyst Sr - FP&A to join their Global FP&A team in New York, NY. This role will support the financial processes of the Marketing and Publicity teams, including expense tracking, budget management, and monthly forecasting and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the financial processes of the Marketing and Publicity teams, including expense tracking, budget management, and monthly forecasting and reporting.
  • Process and track invoices and ensure timely payment. Partner with internal accounting, accounts payable and external partners regarding payment status.
  • Reconcile media plans and review all media billing against contracts and/or forecasts.
  • Participate in the month-end close process, including preparation and review of accruals, partnering with accounting to confirm booking, and reviewing monthly financials with marketing leadership.
  • Assist with the end-to-end annual budgeting process.
  • Perform various analyses and ad hoc reporting as required, including document and process automation through the use of AI tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, or accounting.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst, consultant, or in an accounting position.
  • Experience working in a marketing department or in the media and entertainment industry is preferred.
  • MS Office expertise, with an emphasis in Excel, including Copilot experience.
  • Proficiency in Oracle EPM, Oracle Planning and Oracle EBS is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and effectively prioritize workload.
