About the Role
Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots equipment at customer locations using tools, parts, and technical diagrams. Responsibilities include on-site preventive maintenance, inspection, call-out services, and commissioning of turbomachinery and package systems.
Responsibilities
- Use a variety of test equipment to diagnose and identify malfunctions, referring to schematics and manufacturers' specifications.
- Use hand tools, gauges, and instruments to analyze, repair, or replace faulty parts.
- Utilize digital tools and systems.
- Check for common causes of trouble, such as dirty or defective components.
- Clean and lubricate equipment as needed.
- Perform routine installations and make adjustments to equipment as appropriate within normal procedures.
Requirements
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and a physical fitness evaluation.
- Maintain a clean driving record (no moving violations within the last 12 months, no "2 point" violations within the last 3 years, and no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Successfully complete a physical exam and obtain OGUK (offshore) certification by a Solar-approved physician.
- Obtain a legal Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC).
