About the Role
Taylor Corporation is seeking an Advanced Service Account Manager, Insourcing to identify and execute insourcing opportunities, drive revenue growth, and promote TAP (Taylor Advantage Products) utilization within assigned accounts.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prioritize, and execute TAP insourcing opportunities across assigned accounts.
- Develop account-level strategies to increase TAP utilization, reduce external vendor spend, and expand product categories.
- Review sales activity, quoting trends, and purchasing behavior to uncover revenue opportunities.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Service to influence purchasing decisions toward TAP solutions.
- Track and communicate insourcing progress, revenue impact, and performance against goals.
- Serve as a primary expert on TAP products, capabilities, competitive advantages, inventory strategies, and new launches.
- Promote TAP-first selling behaviors and recommend product substitutions or vended-to-TAP conversions.
- Collaborate with Product Merchandising and Operations to address product gaps and identify future opportunities.
- Train and mentor Customer Service, Account Managers, Program Coordinators, and Sales teams on TAP products and insourcing best practices.
- Create simple reference materials, playbooks, and coaching content to improve adoption and consistency.
- Act as an escalation resource for TAP-related product questions and strategic account opportunities.
- Share successes, best practices, and lessons learned to strengthen organizational knowledge.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers to support account growth.
- Analyze account performance, spending patterns, product mix, risks, and conversion opportunities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute TAP initiatives and improve the customer experience.
- Maintain visibility to pipeline opportunities and follow through on revenue-generating activities.
- Provide leadership with insights and recommendations to expand TAP adoption and improve profitability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of account management, sales support, customer service, and promotional products industry experience.
- Strong understanding of promotional products, decorated apparel, e-commerce storefronts, and insourcing initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, coach teams, and drive revenue growth.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting tools preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
